FALL 2011
Kevin and Christin Pounds planted Burlington City Church in Burlington, VT. EARLY 2016 God began to use the story of Jonah to call the Prestens to Burlington, VT to plant a new church in the city. AUGUST 2016 The Prestens moved to the Old North End of Burlington, VT. FEBRUARY 2017 Burlington City Church, planted by Kevin Pounds, transitioned to being the "launch team" of New King Church. New King Church began Launch Team meetings every Sunday at Saint Joseph's School in the Old North End. FEBRUARY 2018 New King Church launched with a Grand Opening at 50 Mansfield Avenue in Burlington. |
DECEMBER 2018
New King moved to its current property located at 20 Anderson Parkway in South Burlington. SUMMER 2020 New King sent out their first missionaries to Central Asia. OCTOBER 2021 New King's first church plant Redeemer Church, launched in St. Albans, VT. JUNE 2024 New King multiplied again, sending the Presten family to church plant in John’s Creek, GA, and welcoming the Twombly family to the lead team at New King. |
